Software Engineer (SRE - Platform Services) Graduate (Infrastructure Engineering) - 2027 Start

- Build platforms, systems, and services for internal and external teams to interact with large-scale production systems.
- Build tools that improve engineering productivity.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Introduce new ideas and technologies into the platform and iterate on solutions.
- Apply software engineering skills to platform services and infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- Be completing or have recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Have coursework, academic projects, or internship experience in at least two of web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, or building software systems.
- Demonstrate strong foundational programming and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
- Have a genuine interest in IT operations concepts such as Discovery, Insights, and Configuration Management, IT Operations Management, or IT Service Management.
- Preferred: exposure to GPU computing, Hadoop, Kafka, Apache, big data, streaming, or computing concepts.
- Preferred: software development experience with Golang or Python through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Preferred: familiarity with web protocols and basic web server concepts.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting technical issues in an academic, internship, or personal project setting.
- Preferred: familiarity with LLMs and AI tools for AI coding, particularly internship or project experience applying AI agents in IT operations.
