Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust, highly available continuous integration pipelines.
- Identify and implement automation to eliminate repetitive manual processes.
- Automate build and deployment processes.
- Design and implement software that streamlines manual operations and improves developer productivity.
- Troubleshoot platform issues across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Perform root cause analysis of critical issues and create long-term solutions.
- Maintain scalable logging and monitoring infrastructure.
- Build tools from scratch and collaborate with application and engineering teams.
Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or an infrastructure-focused role.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms, software development life cycle, networking, databases, and system administration.
- Understanding of version control systems such as GitHub.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Preferred knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AWS, GCP, and modern web service architectures.
- Preferred experience with Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and complex Unix/Linux troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
