Base Salary
$196k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the AI Runtime orchestration layer that converts natural-language intent into reliable execution.
- Build entity resolution, context assembly, connector orchestration, evidence retrieval, routing, and reusable workflow Skills.
- Develop evidence-backed reasoning with visible citations and traceability.
- Build evaluation frameworks, permission models, freshness validation, and action policies.
- Own features from runtime capabilities through user-facing product experiences.
- Prototype, validate, and iterate with customers while maintaining production-grade reliability.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ship production systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building production systems.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture.
- Experience building AI applications with LLMs, agents, RAG, MCP, or modern AI frameworks.
- Strong fundamentals in APIs, concurrency, testing, and system design.
- Experience building developer platforms, orchestration systems, or workflow engines.
- Ability to rapidly prototype while maintaining production quality.
- Strong product instincts and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional written communication, ownership, and shipping orientation.
- Preferred: experience with AI agents or agent frameworks, evaluation systems, LangGraph, Temporal, MCP, retrieval systems, vector search, knowledge graphs, developer tools, platform infrastructure, Kafka, Iceberg, Postgres, Spark, or modern data warehouses.
