Responsibilities
- Develop and fine-tune GPT, BERT, T5, LLaMA, and Mistral models for text generation, summarization, translation, and question answering.
- Work with transformer architectures, self-attention, token embeddings, model interpretability, sequence modeling, and positional embeddings.
- Implement custom tokenization, text embedding models, and efficient inference optimizations.
- Apply prompt engineering and prompt tuning techniques to improve model responses.
- Use LangChain and LLM orchestration frameworks to build AI-powered applications.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines using FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, and ChromaDB.
- Use Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK, and OpenAI APIs.
- Apply machine learning methods including named entity recognition, topic modeling, dimensionality reduction, time-series forecasting, anomaly detection, and probabilistic modeling.
- Implement model serving and real-time inference, including through REST APIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, information systems, machine learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in MLOps engineering, machine learning engineering, platform engineering, DevOps engineering, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and OpenAI APIs.
- Strong knowledge of scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM.
- Experience training, fine-tuning, and optimizing transformer models.
- Strong NLP expertise and understanding of linear algebra, gradient descent, backpropagation, activation functions, and loss functions.
- Understanding of model serving techniques, REST APIs, and real-time inference.
- Cloud platform, DevOps, machine learning, automation, container orchestration, platform engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, machine learning operations, or software delivery certifications are preferred.
