Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own moderately complex backend features and services in Go on GCP from design through production.
- Write clean, tested, production-ready code and improve it as needed.
- Work within data ingestion and validation workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Contribute to infrastructure and configuration work using Terraform.
- Support operational work by contributing to observability tooling and documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of backend engineering fundamentals including data structures, APIs, and databases.
- Experience in Go or another statically typed language with a willingness to learn Go.
- Ability to write readable, tested, and well-structured code.
- Curiosity and a methodical approach to debugging and data problems.
- Experience with GCP or another cloud platform.
- Interest in data pipelines, validation logic, or workflow systems.
- Exposure to security or infrastructure domains.
