Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture from discovery through launch.
- Design and document robust integration patterns across RESTful APIs and middleware.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison to partner engineering teams.
- Create high-quality technical artifacts and lead design reviews.
- Prototype and script proofs of concept using SQL and a scripting language.
- Develop reusable templates and documentation for Connected Stores implementations.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and implement preventative measures.
- Provide thought leadership on retail technology domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a solutions architect or software engineer.
- 4+ years designing and implementing RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language for automation.
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies such as API gateways and middleware.
- Proven track record of taking solutions from design through launch.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience partnering with Technical Program/Project Managers.
