Base Salary

$139k - $173k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Create, deploy, and manage highly available, very large-scale distributed systems
  • Redesign backend services to improve scalability and strengthen service security
  • Ship reliable, scalable features that deliver customer value
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to understand customer challenges and deliver solutions
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality
  • Identify key system metrics and ensure monitoring coverage for data storage and analytical services
  • Develop new product offerings and insights into the health of customers’ email programs

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with demonstrated skill progression
  • Proficiency with Go or similar typed programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, or Rust
  • Ability to implement reliable and maintainable software components
  • Experience automating processes and administrative tasks
  • Effective collaboration and ownership of tasks through completion
  • A degree in Computer Science or similar work experience
  • Desired experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies
  • Desired experience with Terraform or similar configuration management tools
  • Desired experience with MySQL or AWS Aurora database systems
  • Desired experience with Kafka or other distributed logging systems
  • Desired experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud infrastructure providers
