Responsibilities
- Design and implement features for PracticeMatch products.
- Contribute to software system design, code reviews, repository conventions, automated tests, quality gates, and documentation.
- Apply software engineering best practices to build maintainable and adaptable applications.
- Improve application performance, security, and compliance.
- Use agentic AI and automated workflows for engineering work while maintaining human review for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot production web applications and help resolve the causes of system problems.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and across business units.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Ability to review code in Python and TypeScript.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of ColdFusion and SQL Server, including stored procedures and relational database design, preferred.
- Knowledge of React and Git, preferred.
- Knowledge of the physician recruiting and sourcing domain, preferred.
- Daily use of agentic coding tools and accountability for reviewing AI-generated plans and code.
