Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Support and improve on-premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop and refactor internal platform tools and services in Go, including a replacement for the current deployment system.
- Investigate infrastructure, identify weaknesses, and drive improvements independently.
- Improve the speed, reliability, and cost of stage and ephemeral environments.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
- Improve observability using Grafana, OpenSearch, metrics, and alerting.
- Handle shared operational and support tasks, including work across legacy and Windows environments.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, SRE, and infrastructure teams to improve developer experience and delivery speed.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of senior-level experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting on-premise infrastructure, including hardware- and infrastructure-level troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Recent production experience with Go building tools, exporters, automation, or backend services.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience and solid GitLab CI/CD experience.
- Strong Linux administration skills and experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Prometheus, or VictoriaMetrics.
- Willingness to work with Windows Server, Hyper-V, PowerShell, legacy systems, and modern technology stacks.
- Ability to take ownership of initiatives, investigate unfamiliar systems, identify bottlenecks, and deliver measurable improvements.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with multiple cloud providers, hybrid infrastructure, Helm, Helmfile, VMware or other virtualization platforms, internal developer platforms, networking, and JavaScript/React.
