Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end product features across Python services, APIs, and React/TypeScript interfaces.
- Build and improve the AI workflows powering Crosby’s product.
- Design data models, backend services, and APIs for complex legal workflows.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly with product, design, and in-house legal teams.
- Make foundational technical decisions and establish engineering patterns.
- Mentor engineers and help recruit additional engineering talent.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production software.
- Strong backend engineering depth with sufficient frontend fluency to independently ship polished interfaces.
- Experience designing schemas, APIs, and services used by other engineers.
- Ability to own projects from ideation through execution and delivery.
- Strong product judgment, systems thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Python and TypeScript is relevant, though the company prioritizes judgment over a specific technology stack.
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new technologies.
