Base Salary
$172k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop state-of-the-art motion control and trajectory optimization algorithms.
- Design and build robust software for real on-road impact.
- Conduct high-quality code and design reviews in C++.
- Collaborate with teams on decision/behavior planning and vehicle control.
- Create project proposals for long-term technical roadmaps.
- Mentor junior team members to foster a culture of product-focused engineering.
Requirements
- 3+ years of C++ software development experience.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience with Model Predictive Control (MPC) and motion planning.
- Understanding of numerical optimization algorithms.
- Experience with optimization solvers like IPOPT or Gurobi.
- Proven track record of leading technical development from problem formulation to implementation.
- Knowledge of Python is a bonus.
