Responsibilities
- Lead, design, and implement scalable end-to-end performance optimization solutions on Palantir Skywise.
- Define technical standards, Golden Rules, best practices, and source-code auditing practices.
- Perform deep-technology root-cause analysis for complex data-pipeline and application issues.
- Design maintainable server-side processing architectures using Python, Java, and Scala.
- Understand complex business processes and the technical architecture of the Airbus application portfolio.
- Mentor development team members and promote robust, navigable codebases.
- Engage with European customers to gather requirements, manage expectations, and present technical deliveries.
- Bridge business requirements and Big Data execution while ensuring quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of total IT experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience exclusively in Palantir Skywise development.
- At least 3 years of customer-facing support or service experience working with European customers.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
- Practical experience with Polars and DuckDB.
- Deep familiarity with Skywise tools including Workshop, Slate, and Object Explorer / Foundry Ontology.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and Scala.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems, plus experience with Git version control and enterprise-scale software delivery.
- Familiarity with Pandas is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
