Responsibilities

  • Develop, train, test, deploy, and maintain artificial intelligence and machine-learning functions.
  • Design and configure AI logic, workflows, rules, algorithms, and decision-making processes.
  • Translate EEOC business and operational requirements into functional AI solutions.
  • Prepare, process, validate, and manage data used to train and evaluate AI models.
  • Configure AI functions for automation, data analysis, document processing, search, classification, forecasting, and other approved use cases.
  • Evaluate, tune, and retrain AI models to improve accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop prompts, business rules, guardrails, and response logic for generative-AI or natural-language-processing solutions as applicable.
  • Integrate AI capabilities with applications, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot AI solutions for accuracy, functionality, security, bias, unintended outcomes, and data-quality issues.
  • Document AI architecture, training methods, configuration settings, decision logic, testing results, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, business analysts, and EEOC stakeholders.
  • Support demonstrations, user acceptance testing, implementation, ongoing enhancement, technical recommendations, and project documentation.
  • Apply federal security, privacy, accessibility, records-management, and responsible-AI requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing, training, testing, deploying, or supporting artificial intelligence and machine-learning solutions.
  • Experience designing and configuring AI algorithms, decision logic, workflows, rules, or automated functions.
  • Experience preparing and validating data for AI model training and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, or related AI technologies.
  • Experience evaluating, tuning, and improving AI model accuracy and performance.
  • Ability to integrate AI functions with applications, APIs, databases, or enterprise platforms.
  • Experience testing, troubleshooting, and documenting AI-enabled solutions.
  • Understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity, model governance, bias mitigation, and responsible-AI practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and federal customer representatives.
  • Ability to work in Washington, DC, as required by the contract.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience supporting EEOC or another federal agency and implementing AI in a federal or highly regulated environment.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-based AI and machine-learning platforms, Python, SQL, APIs, machine-learning frameworks, large language models, or generative-AI technologies.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
