Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack applications and tools for AWS Activate startup customers.
- Design modern, scalable, reliable applications and services for customer-facing and internal workflows.
- Develop features for Startups.AWS, the Activate Console, and the Activate Admin Console.
- Implement experiences for credit applications, approval workflows, recommendation feeds, cost optimization, customer notifications, and startup benefits.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders while participating in code reviews, mentoring, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 4+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: Knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
