Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build the experience powering Google Beam’s core meeting experience.
- Orchestrate communication between user-facing applications and native client services written in C++ and Go.
- Develop low-latency, highly reliable experiences across ChromeOS, Android, and ARCVM ecosystems.
- Collaborate with the Google Meet team and third-party meeting vendors to integrate Beam features into the broader ecosystem at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in C++.
- Two years of full-stack development experience across backend codebases such as Java, Python, Go, or C++ and frontend technologies including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
- Preferred: experience with ChromeOS, Android, or ARCVM development environments.
