Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and ship software features for Amazon’s Homepage and navigation experiences across mobile, desktop, and tablet.
- Build high-performing, scalable, reusable, and locale-aware systems for millions of global customers.
- Turn large amounts of data into customer value and scale features to meet business needs.
- Integrate Homepage systems with the broader Amazon ecosystem and partner platforms.
- Investigate complex systems and develop innovative solutions amid ambiguity and competing priorities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: knowledge of ML frameworks including JAX, PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, Dynamo, TorchXLA, and TensorRT.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience building complex software systems.
