Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs for AWS resource configuration data.
- Develop customer-facing console and web experiences that are intuitive, performant, and accessible.
- Write tested code across the stack and participate in design and code reviews.
- Own service operational health through on-call, monitoring, metrics, alarms, and automation.
- Collaborate on architecture and technical direction with senior and principal engineers.
- Mentor teammates and provide design feedback.
- Use AI to execute work efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
