Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build intelligent software that automates AWS infrastructure operations.
- Develop recommendations and insights related to cost optimization, performance, security, and fault tolerance.
- Design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Work with a variety of teams to understand how AWS services integrate together.
- Contribute across provisioning, monitoring, auto remediation, patching, backup, compliance, security, and recovery operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
