Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement video streaming and ad insertion features that scale to millions of concurrent viewers.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Participate in the on-call rotation supporting 24/7 video streaming services.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to improve system architecture and operational efficiency.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems.
- Document technical decisions and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- At least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with digital advertising, related ad specifications, file formats, and technologies is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with video streaming technologies such as DASH and HLS is preferred.
- Experience building and operating SGAI and SSAI solutions for millions of concurrent viewers is preferred.

- The base salary range is $143,700.00–$194,400.00 USD annually for USA, Washington, Seattle; final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
