Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver measurement software supporting Amazon Ads attribution across display, search, native, and video.
  • Build and maintain petabyte-scale data pipelines and services using Spark, EMR, Apache Iceberg, Java, and AWS services.
  • Translate attribution and measurement methodologies developed with scientists and economists into scalable production systems.
  • Solve challenges involving distributed systems, fragmented identity and signals, privacy requirements, and evolving technical priorities.
  • Apply architectural approaches and design patterns to deliver maintainable, scalable, reliable, and well-tested systems.
  • Drive code reviews, testing strategies, operational excellence, alarms, runbooks, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and balance performance, cost, and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 3 years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • At least 2 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience with big data processing, data warehouse architecture, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting or analytic tools and environments.
