Responsibilities
- Design and build internal datasets and large-scale data pipelines.
- Develop tools and frameworks that improve engineering productivity, CI/CD automation, testing, and release workflows.
- Implement data validation, quality controls, governance, and compliance practices.
- Build telemetry and instrumentation across services and devices to improve system visibility and reliability.
- Create scalable observability and automation solutions that provide actionable insights into performance, usage, and quality.
- Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to understand workflows and deliver reliable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software or data engineering experience.
- Strong SQL and Python programming and data skills.
- Experience with large-scale data pipelines, large datasets, data quality, and validation.
- Experience writing and maintaining high-quality, well-tested code.
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks, validation techniques, and data governance and compliance frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous product or business questions into clear data solutions.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Prior developer experience engineering, platform engineering, or CI/CD experience is highly desirable.
