Responsibilities
- Understand client and product requirements and translate them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, test, modify, and maintain software programs and modules.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases, scenarios, and usage cases.
- Troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system performance and availability.
- Collaborate with project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Prepare code, documentation, flowcharts, reports, project status updates, and MIS reports.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, implementation, and release activities.
- Respond to customer requests, capture requirements and clarifications, gather feedback, and support timely delivery.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certification activities to maintain current skills.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software design, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, and deployment.
- Ability to analyze information needs, systems flow, data usage, work processes, and software requirements.
- Ability to develop test cases and automate software validation processes.
- Ability to document and communicate technical solutions clearly with internal teams and clients.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues and evaluate software-hardware interfaces and performance requirements.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages, participate in training, and complete assigned certifications.
