Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Design and implement rich frontend interfaces and performant backend APIs for enterprise applications.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Build scalable backend services, microservices, APIs, frontend applications, and deployment pipelines.
- Define architectures balancing security, scalability, reliability, observability, and performance.
- Investigate failures, improve designs, and drive operational excellence and software reliability practices.
- Review code and provide actionable feedback while mentoring team members and promoting engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with US-based teams across time zones and communicate priorities, blockers, risks, and delivery expectations.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and use generative AI coding techniques and AI-based workflows to accelerate development.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience; a master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Proven experience architecting and building maintainable, extensible, and testable distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, React, or comparable Angular or Vue frameworks.
- Hands-on experience designing microservices and APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development on AWS, including EC2, Lambda, EKS, and RDS.
- Ability to design low-latency, high-throughput systems using circuit breakers, rate limiting, and caching strategies.
- Experience with Jenkins or CloudBees, GitLab, Apigee, Istio, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript design patterns, scalable Java and Spring Boot services, version control, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, continuous integration, deployment automation, and rapid feedback loops.
- Ability to define and fulfill solution requirements, analyze complex domains, prioritize effectively, and secure applications and containers using certificates.
- Experience collaborating across time zones and contributing to high-performing engineering teams.
