Responsibilities
- Own the architecture, integration, deployment, and production operation of complex enterprise AI agent systems.
- Serve as the technical anchor for an FDE pod through design and code reviews, mentoring, and escalation handling.
- Debug real-time voice latency, telephony edge cases, integration failures, and agent quality regressions.
- Build evaluation harnesses, deployment tooling, debugging infrastructure, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Translate deployment learnings into product feedback, prototypes, and platform improvements with core engineering.
- Lead architecture discussions with customer engineering leaders and act as a trusted technical peer during production incidents.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software engineering experience and experience shipping and operating systems at scale.
- Expertise in Python, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and debugging distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with LLM agent systems, including orchestration, tool calling, evaluations, and context engineering.
- Ability to work autonomously, translate ambiguous enterprise requirements into plans, and operate calmly during production issues.
- Preferred qualifications include forward deployed or solutions engineering experience, AI or enterprise software experience, real-time voice or conversational AI experience, and early-stage startup experience.
