Responsibilities
- Develop automation software for machines used in product handling, storage, and packaging.
- Program controllers with complex drive systems for packaging systems, ideally using Rockwell ControlLogix.
- Design and implement associated software applications.
- Continuously develop modular software components to improve software quality, functionality, and flexibility.
- Develop customer-specific concepts and solutions for customer orders in collaboration with mechanical engineering, sales, final assembly, and modernization teams.
- Implement complex customer projects and contribute to project success.
- Collaborate internationally and participate in occasional customer visits.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or systems engineering.
- Ideally, experience with PLC programming and motion control, particularly Rockwell ControlLogix.
- Ideally, familiarity with high-level programming languages such as C++ and C#.
- Interest in special-purpose machinery engineering.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently and in a solution-oriented manner.
- Good English-language skills for international collaboration and customer visits.
