Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, debug, and optimize custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows using Databricks and distributed computing technologies.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions across team boundaries.
- Lead implementation of software development best practices to improve processes and team productivity.
- Act as a subject matter expert, manage team activities, and take responsibility for team decisions.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional efforts with business objectives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- At least 5 years of overall professional experience.
- Experience with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle practices and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data analytics solution integration.
- Competence in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex software systems.
- 15 years of full-time education.
