Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and implementation for L1/L2 networks, on-chain products, or zero-knowledge protocols.
- Build developer platforms, staking infrastructure, and MEV-aware systems at scale.
- Drive technical strategy, architecture, and roadmaps for complex crypto systems.
- Mentor engineers and help establish engineering culture at early-stage companies.
- Work directly with founders and research teams on novel mechanisms and primitives.
- Confidentially engage with portfolio companies through facilitated introductions when there is mutual interest.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years at the Staff or Principal level.
- Proven experience building and shipping crypto-native protocols, infrastructure, or full-stack products.
- Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and production-grade architecture.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Comfort working in high-ambiguity, fast-paced startup environments.
- Contributions to open-source crypto projects or participation in core protocol engineering are preferred.
