Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3+ technical support for middleware web application services.
- Manage and train operational personnel and provide technical leadership to the Web Operations Team.
- Lead and participate in incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes.
- Serve as a client liaison and escalation point for internal and external customers.
- Partner with engineering teams on automation, service standardization, and continuous service improvement.
- Manage vulnerability remediation, patching, upgrades, and hardware lifecycle activities.
- Design and implement solutions, support new technology projects, and improve the web application stack.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of web server and web application technologies, including JBoss, JBCS, IBM WebSphere, IBM HTTPD Server, Microsoft IIS, and Tomcat.
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SSL and SSH security protocols and key management.
- Hands-on experience with shell scripting, Python programming, Ansible Core/Tower, and Terraform.
- Ability to manage high-priority initiatives and coordinate activities with service delivery and engineering teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations, client services, application, and service delivery teams.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development or intelligent automation is a strong plus.
