Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable frontend systems.
- Architect and maintain reusable components across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create cohesive solutions.
- Set frontend development standards for performance, accessibility, and user experience.
- Balance new product feature delivery with technical debt management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to frontend engineers.
- Identify and implement tools, frameworks, and methodologies that improve development efficiency.
- Deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable code autonomously.
- Investigate edge cases and solve complex and detailed user problems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems.
- Experience scaling frontend architectures, tooling, and developer experience across multiple teams in high-growth SaaS environments.
- Advanced proficiency with React and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, data fetching, performance tuning, and deployment models.
- Strong monorepo experience with shared libraries, build pipelines, versioning, and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience designing and evolving design systems with UI component libraries, design tokens, theming, Storybook, accessibility, and governance.
- Hands-on experience architecting frontends at scale, defining module boundaries, establishing patterns, and creating reusable primitives.
- Exposure to micro-frontend architectures, including module federation, runtime integration, independent deployments, shared state, and UX consistency strategies.
- Strong grounding in testing practices including TDD, BDD, unit, integration, visual regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Playwright and Cucumber.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex.
- Ability to balance fast, high-quality delivery with testing, observability, performance, and accessibility standards.
- Technical leadership experience including mentoring senior engineers, defining technical strategy, driving architectural decisions, and improving team-wide engineering practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with product managers, designers, and backend teams.
