Responsibilities
- Work hands-on within the cloud data platform to deliver new features and fix issues.
- Contribute to the technical design and architecture development for solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with deployed systems as part of level 3 support.
- Become a technical expert for the cloud data platform.
- Evaluate and resolve technical debt and engage in platform modernization.
- Recommend and implement best practices and standards for cloud data platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to meet data requirements.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Ensure efficient operation of Scrum within the team.
- Analyze and update tools and processes as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud data engineering.
- 4+ years working with AWS services including Redshift, AWS Glue, Lambda, DMS, Kinesis.
- 2+ years working with ETL tools (MS SSIS or similar).
- Significant hands-on experience with databases, schemas, complex queries, and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration.
