Responsibilities
- Drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle through automated testing and continuous quality practices.
- Build and evolve scalable test automation frameworks and test suites to increase coverage and testing efficiency.
- Develop performance, load, security, resilience, and service virtualization testing strategies.
- Apply Test-Driven Development, Behavior-Driven Development, and automation practices to improve software quality.
- Own quality outcomes for complex client initiatives by partnering with engineering, business, product, and test teams.
- Shape testing strategies, prioritize risk, and influence engineering quality standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing, coding, software design, or development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience designing and developing automated testing frameworks and test suites across unit, component, API, functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, continuous integration technologies, modern testing tools, and software delivery pipelines.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Test-Driven Development, and Behavior-Driven Development.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, and experience with continuous testing, service virtualization, payment security, or PCI testing.
