Responsibilities
- Understand, enhance, maintain, and grow the platform powering Yubico’s services.
- Design and develop testable, scalable, globally distributed enterprise services.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Security, Infrastructure, UX designers, Support, and a multinational development team.
- Work with cloud platform services, REST design, data compliance, and web security.
- Create well-architected software and participate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical enterprise services.
Requirements
- Require 6+ years of software development experience or equivalent.
- Require experience building commercial software and developing backend software.
- Require experience with relational databases.
- Require experience with one or more web-backend languages, including Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, or Rust.
- Prefer hands-on experience with Go and/or Java/Kotlin.
- Prefer experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, one of the three major cloud platforms, and authentication, authorization, or modern security practices.
