Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of React and TypeScript frontend applications.
- Define frontend architecture standards using JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and Material UI.
- Design, build, and optimize Bryntum-based interfaces and components.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs and WebSockets.
- Guide the use of React Hooks, React Router, Redux, and Redux Toolkit.
- Improve responsiveness, accessibility, performance, maintainability, and technical consistency.
- Contribute to Micro Frontend architectures and frontend integration concepts.
- Lead automated frontend and UI testing using React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and development lifecycle improvements.
- Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and support the Frontend Software Developer on the project.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality teams, business experts, customers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.
- Support production stabilization, complex issue resolution, rollout activities, and customer discussions.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with React in complex production applications.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience building scalable interfaces with Material UI and extending Bryntum Components.
- Strong experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and managing WebSockets and real-time interfaces.
- Advanced experience with React Hooks, React Router, Redux, and Redux Toolkit.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, WCAG, component architecture, state management, clean code, and design patterns.
- Proven frontend performance optimization experience in production environments.
- Practical understanding of Micro Frontend architectures and their operational trade-offs.
- Strong frontend testing and test automation experience with React Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Practical understanding of Test-Driven Development and quality-focused engineering practices.
- Strong practical experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
- Experience mentoring developers, reviewing technical designs, and improving engineering practices.
- Experience communicating with customers, stakeholders, business experts, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile development environments and Jira, including planning, refinement, and delivery coordination.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
- Nice-to-have experience with Single-SPA, Next.js, Vite, GraphQL, Web Components, customer-facing demos or rollout support, and AI-assisted development tools.
