Responsibilities
- Define and own financial context tables, business glossaries, entity definitions, metric hierarchies, and the semantic layer connecting BigQuery data to agent reasoning.
- Partner with data engineering on dbt model governance and Fivetran pipeline integrity.
- Design agent architecture, orchestration methods, tool-use conventions, handoff protocols, retrieval strategies, memory, context management, and the agent build roadmap.
- Manage the agent registry, including versioning, deployment, deprecation, change control, drift detection, accuracy monitoring, prompt updates, and incident response.
- Build or procure a Finance AI Control Center with agent visibility, KPI tracking, escalation monitoring, and complete audit logging.
- Design AI internal controls, approval hierarchies, data access controls, and human-in-the-loop thresholds with finance and information security stakeholders.
- Lead finance AI literacy, user-guide creation, change management, and adoption of agent-assisted workflows.
- Lead finance process reengineering by defining agent-executable versus judgment-based activities while maintaining control and auditability requirements.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience building and managing LLM-based agents in production environments rather than only proof-of-concept projects.
- Background spanning finance operations, data engineering, and AI/ML systems.
- Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, SQL, Python, LLM orchestration frameworks, and data pipeline management.
- Deep understanding of financial controls, finance operational process flows, and audit requirements.
- Expertise in LLM and agentic architecture, as well as change management and training.
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge finance leaders with technical implementation teams.
