Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support production-grade agentic AI applications and services.
- Develop intelligent agents using large language models, agent frameworks, orchestration workflows, memory, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, semantic and hybrid search, metadata, and enterprise content sources.
- Integrate agents with enterprise APIs, databases, data platforms, workflow tools, and business applications.
- Develop reusable services, libraries, templates, and engineering accelerators for AI solution delivery.
- Implement prompt and agent evaluation, guardrails, monitoring, observability, tracing, reliability controls, and cost-management practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, AgentOps, LLMOps, security scanning, and production-readiness activities.
- Work with platform and data engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities with cloud, Lakehouse, knowledge, and data services.
- Collaborate with product owners, business users, architects, governance teams, and security partners to translate requirements into solutions.
- Participate in design and code reviews, document technical decisions, contribute to platform standards, and mentor less-experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software engineering, data engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern software development, testing, version-control, and code-review practices.
- Hands-on experience building GenAI or agentic AI solutions with LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, Google ADK, or comparable technologies.
- Experience with foundation models such as GPT, Gemini, Claude, or Llama.
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, memory, and agent workflows.
- Experience developing APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native applications.
- Experience deploying solutions on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of data engineering, distributed processing, Lakehouse technologies, metadata, data governance, and knowledge management.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, Claude Code, or Cursor while maintaining quality, security, and governance standards.
- Knowledge of Responsible AI, security controls, model evaluation, and production support practices.
- Financial services, investment management, enterprise platform experience, and relevant cloud, AI, data, or software engineering certifications are preferred or advantageous.
