Base Salary
$200k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new product capabilities and foundational components from the ground up.
- Work closely with the CTO and founding team to ship V1 and deliver the technical and product roadmap.
- Set system architecture and select key technologies for the codebase.
- Incorporate user understanding into product and design decisions.
- Establish engineering best practices and standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a backend-focused software engineer.
- Experience building new products or systems from the ground up.
- A deep commitment to delivering outstanding user experiences.
- Exceptional communication skills and proven cross-functional collaboration ability.
- Comfort working in a fast-growing startup environment with pace and ambiguity.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Experience with Go, GRPC, Kubernetes, React, TypeScript, AWS, or Terraform is preferred.
- Early-stage startup experience and experience building applied AI products are preferred.
