Responsibilities
- Architect, build, deploy, and maintain high-performance Java APIs and event-driven microservices.
- Apply coding standards, design patterns, modular architecture, clean architecture, and CI/CD practices.
- Use AI-assisted developer tools for test generation, code optimization, code coverage, and vulnerability prevention.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and drive technical roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Analyze, design, test, implement, and support application systems while advising stakeholders and assessing technical risks.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-grade APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, clean architecture, design patterns, concurrency, and multithreading.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding and testing tools, mutation testing, vulnerability prevention, and achieving full code coverage.
- Expertise with JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers, and integration testing.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Apache Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; the posting also lists 5–8 years of relevant experience in its recommended qualifications.
- Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, serverless architectures, API gateways, service mesh, Redis, Hazelcast, SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx, financial services, high-throughput transaction processing, or distributed ledger architectures.
