Platform Security Engineer

Responsibilities
- Shape end-to-end security architecture for data, credentials, agent execution, and customer deployments.
- Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews, prioritizing key risks, attack surfaces, and assumptions.
- Drive offensive security testing of the platform, agents, and pipelines.
- Build security tooling, automation, detections, and agent-based defensive systems.
- Partner with engineers to establish secure-by-default practices and eliminate classes of risk through better design.
- Own security guarantees presented to enterprise customers and their CISOs.
- Lead detection, containment, communication, and durable remediation during security incidents.
- Build the security teams as the company grows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in platform security and cyber defense.
- Strong offensive security mindset with the ability to identify flaws, model adversaries, and prioritize meaningful risks.
- Experience shipping secure software to production and applying principles such as least privilege and defense-in-depth.
- Hands-on experience securing complex cloud and multi-tenant environments, especially deployments inside customer VPCs, is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with prompt injection, tool-use abuse, data exfiltration, and model exfiltration risks is preferred.
- Background in offensive security, vulnerability research, or red teaming against cloud or AI systems is preferred.
- Experience using LLMs to accelerate detection, investigation, triage, or automated response is preferred.
- Experience completing SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or FedRAMP compliance programs as engineering efforts is preferred.
- Previous experience as a founder, security lead, or early engineer at a zero-to-one company is preferred.
