Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of features, including customer problem discovery, design documentation, coding, deployment, and measuring impact.
- Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and de-risk ambiguous projects through spikes and prototyping.
- Architect scalable, evolvable systems and data models with appropriate performance, failure isolation, and maintainability.
- Establish frontend architecture patterns, state management, performance budgets, and comprehensive testing strategies.
- Build backend solutions involving API versioning, caching strategies, and complex data migrations.
- Define engineering standards, testing strategies, coding standards, and CI/CD improvements across the stack.
- Lead observability and SRE practices, define SLOs, manage incidents, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
- Oversee operational security, secrets hygiene, and dependency risk management.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, coordinate cross-squad initiatives, and influence product roadmaps.
- Use AI-augmented and agentic development workflows, including AI-powered code review.
Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering experience with strong product leadership, system architecture, and technical influence.
- Ability to design scalable systems and data models and make pragmatic decisions about performance, failure isolation, and long-term maintenance.
- Experience with frontend architecture, state management, performance optimization, and end-to-end testing such as Cypress.
- Experience developing backend systems with API versioning, caching, and data migration strategies.
- Experience with observability, SRE practices, SLOs, incident response, and blameless post-mortems.
- Knowledge of operational security, secrets hygiene, and dependency risk management.
- Strong mentoring, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and organization-wide technical leadership skills.
- Experience with or strong interest in AI-augmented development, agentic workflows, custom agentic skills, and AI-powered code reviews.
- Ability to work from commuting distance of a Perk hub and submit a resume in English.
