Base Salary

$173k - $314k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Establish customer usage models, test strategies, quality gates, and engineering standards across the architecture and development lifecycle.
  • Design resilient architectures addressing functional, performance, scalability, reliability, and fault-tolerance challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional technical triage and drive durable fixes for systemic and architectural issues.
  • Architect scalable UI, API, microservice, and end-to-end quality engineering frameworks.
  • Integrate automated regression, monitoring, alerting, and sanity testing into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
  • Build production-like test environments with Docker, Kubernetes, and synthetic test-data generation.
  • Define and execute enterprise-scale performance strategies using high-concurrency customer workload models.
  • Analyze CPU, memory, database, network, and execution-profiling metrics to identify distributed-system bottlenecks.
  • Use AI and intelligent automation to advance continuous quality and performance engineering.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in software development, test automation framework architecture, and performance engineering for enterprise SaaS or distributed systems.
  • Strong coding skills in at least one of Java, Python, or TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured, or Postman.
  • Deep expertise with K6, JMeter, or Locust and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker; Kubernetes; and CI/CD tools.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Salesforce ecosystem experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Data Cloud, or Agentforce testing is preferred.
  • Experience with AI coding or testing assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor, or with testing LLM/RAG pipelines, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SQL query tuning, indexing, and relational or NoSQL database performance is preferred.
  • Ability to resolve complex customer escalations through technical debugging, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
