Base Salary
$251k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect software and design systems for scalable, maintainable testing of autonomous vehicle collision avoidance capabilities.
- Establish technical partnerships with the simulation team to co-design extensible APIs.
- Integrate, test, and validate simulation technologies with the collision avoidance testing framework.
- Develop tools and capabilities to automate test quality and performance.
- Mentor more junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to design robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures and APIs.
- Strong C++ and Python coding skills.
- Technical leadership skills, including driving strategy, influencing across teams, and mentoring engineers.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics is preferred.
- Experience with simulation systems is preferred.
