Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, customize, maintain, and support Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
- Implement policy administration features including product configuration, underwriting rules, rating, pricing, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Build Guidewire integrations using plugins, messaging, web services, batch processes, event triggers, and data exchange pipelines.
- Develop and maintain SOAP/REST APIs, XML/XSD data exchanges, JSON structures, messaging components, and integration interfaces.
- Integrate Guidewire with comparative raters, payment gateways, document systems, accounting platforms, customer portals, and other external systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, JSON, XSD, SQL, SOAP/REST web services, and Guidewire configuration tools.
- Understanding of Property & Casualty insurance processes across policy administration and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire data models, workflows, rules engines, plugins, messaging, batch processes, and web services.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Preferred exposure to Git, Jenkins, Maven, AWS, Azure, Guidewire Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter certification is preferred.
