Responsibilities

Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation for software build, testing, deployment, and configuration.
Manage GCP infrastructure and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, Deployment Manager, and similar tools.
Develop monitoring solutions with Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging and address performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
Implement infrastructure and application deployment security practices using IAM, Security Command Center, and VPC Service Controls.
Provide troubleshooting and operational support for build failures, deployment problems, system outages, and critical incidents.
Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
Participate in an on-call rotation.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Operations Suite.
Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Ruby scripting.
Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef configuration management tools.
In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
Hands-on experience with Git or another version control system.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts and tools.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Current or expired certification in at least one listed GCP Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer, Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer, or Cloud Network Engineer certification.
