Research Scientist - LLM Training System as a Service - Global Frontier Tech Recruitment Program - 2027 Start (PhD)

- Develop and optimize LLM training, inference, and reinforcement learning frameworks.
- Collaborate with model researchers to scale LLM training and reinforcement learning systems.
- Optimize GPU and CUDA performance for high-performance LLM training, inference, and reinforcement learning engines.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in computer science, automation, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proficient in algorithms and data structures and familiar with Python.
- Understands basic deep learning algorithms, neural network architectures, and deep learning training frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Preferred: experience with CUDA high-performance computing optimization, computer architecture, parallel computing, memory access optimization, and low-bit computing.
- Preferred: familiarity with FSDP, DeepSpeed, JAX SPMD, Megatron-LM, VeRL, TensorRT-LLM, ORCA, vLLM, and SGLang.
- Preferred: knowledge of LLM models and experience accelerating LLM model optimization.
