Responsibilities
- Work with the team to solve business problems.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that improve service performance, durability, cost, and security.
- Develop high-quality software for distributed systems.
- Build client-facing features and highly available back-end payment systems.
- Apply software engineering best practices to maintain a high standard of quality.
- Work in an agile, startup-like development environment focused on high-priority work.
- Provide technical direction and help steer the team toward its vision.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
