Responsibilities
- Modernize and enhance Java-based web applications for stability, scalability, usability, and maintainability.
- Develop and improve front-end components using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data access, reporting, and performance tuning.
- Refactor legacy code and apply engineering best practices for maintainability and performance.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and delivery practices.
- Contribute to product design discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Drive code quality through unit testing, code reviews, engineering standards, and maintainable design.
- Investigate production incidents, lead root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and reduce recurring issues.
- Monitor application health, performance, and reliability using Datadog or equivalent tools.
- Share technical knowledge and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-stack development experience using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and React.js.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices including Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Compliance Buddy or equivalent.
- Experience with production support, incident management, API health monitoring, and observability tools such as Datadog or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with Python, generative AI frameworks and APIs, vector databases, prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and LLM integration.
- Preferred experience with API management and testing tools such as Apigee and Postman or equivalent.
- Exposure to spec-driven development, automated testing, and application observability practices.
