Internship Medical Engineering & Computer-Assisted Surgery – 6 Months | Start Spring 2027
StrykerResponsibilities
- Develop and evaluate concepts for interactive guidance in navigated ENT surgery.
- Design and implement proof-of-concept applications for surgical navigation systems.
- Apply computer vision, augmented reality, machine learning, and human-computer interaction technologies.
- Build software solutions using C++, Python, and/or MATLAB.
- Evaluate prototypes within a navigation and imaging ecosystem.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with C/C++ programming.
- Basic knowledge of Python and/or MATLAB.
- Basic knowledge of image processing, computer vision, or machine learning.
- English communication skills at minimum B2 level.
- German language skills at minimum B2 are preferred.
