Responsibilities
- Interpret software requirements specifications and program, implement, maintain, and unit-test code according to ASP.NET standards.
- Develop documentation, participate in code reviews, and provide technical guidance and direction to an offshore development team.
- Build and maintain web-based and client-based .NET applications using SOA architectures.
- Integrate Microsoft technologies with other technologies such as J2EE and consume SOAP web services.
- Work with web technologies including DHTML, JavaScript, DOM, XHTML, HTML, stylesheets, and client- and server-side scripting.
- Use Team Foundation Server for user stories, bugs, enhancements, and burndown tracking.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with the .NET development environment, including C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and IIS.
- Web development experience with DHTML, JavaScript, and DOM Level 2, including dynamic manipulation of client-side HTML elements.
- Experience working with decentralized or shared development teams and offshore resources.
- Experience integrating Microsoft technologies with J2EE and consuming SOAP web services.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and the full Microsoft BI stack, including SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, and SharePoint.
- Experience with Visual SourceSafe, Microsoft Report Analysis Service, and XBRL.
- An undergraduate degree such as a BA or BS, or 5 years of IT experience.
