Responsibilities
- Develop applications that comply with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and implement frontend, backend, database, and API components.
- Create unit tests and test software systems and applications.
- Contribute to technical designs, code standards, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide production support and maintain existing applications.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, project managers, business partners, subject matter experts, and end users.
- Apply software development methodologies based on project needs.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Monitor and mitigate risk through day-to-day risk and control processes and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with React or Angular and responsive design principles.
- Expertise in server-side Java.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Integration, or Camel.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
- Ability to design and optimize database schemas and implement APIs.
- Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of cloud compute, storage, database, serverless, and networking services.
- Kafka experience is a preferred qualification.
- Curiosity about using AI tools to improve software development productivity and quality.
