Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of software or infrastructure development services for large or complex projects.
- Own solution or infrastructure design, development, delivery, maintenance, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting for complex and escalated project work.
- Provide advanced technical expertise, technical advice, and continuous improvement plans.
- Collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Architecture teams to deliver solutions.
- Lead work-group delivery by establishing appropriate expectations, structures, tools, processes, and responsibilities.
- Define, maintain, and implement technology standards and technical designs.
- Design and implement language-model, embedding, agentic-system, and AI-model evaluation capabilities.
Requirements
- Advanced technical proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more of C#, Java, or Python.
- More than 10 years of applied experience and significant relevant software or platform engineering experience.
- Experience delivering software or platform engineering solutions and handling user requirements.
- Experience with code management, configuration management, and automation tools such as GitHub and ADO.
- Proficiency fine-tuning language models for text generation, summarization, or question answering.
- Knowledge of embedding models for similarity matching, clustering, and information retrieval.
- Familiarity with agentic systems that combine AI models with external tools or environments.
- Ability to design AI-model and agent evaluation frameworks using metrics, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking.
- Experience building applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- Microsoft, Google, or AWS certifications and experience with modern delivery methodologies are preferred.
